The 2018 Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences (CSES) Annual Conference on Environmental Science and Technology was held from August 3^rd to 5^th in Hefei, Anhui. Professor Hou Haobo, associate professor Zhou Min and 16 graduate students on behalf of SRES attended the Annual Conference. The CSES Annual Conference is China’s largest, highest academic level and the most influential environmental summit, which is the platform for the research achievements conversion and exhibition.

Professor Hou Haobo was invited as the chairman of soil remediation session. He gave the speech titled ‘Construction and application of environmental remediation materials based on low-grade waste’ and ‘lake endogenous pollution removal and ecological restoration ’, respectively. Graduate students Dong Yiqie and Li he representing SRES participated the Environmental Technology Innovation Sub-Forum for Graduate. The Innovation Sub-Forum was hosted by Professor Wang Zhiwei, vice dean of College of Environmental Science and Engineering, Tongji University. The graduate students from East China University of technology, Renmin University of China, Beijing Normal University, Beijing University, Chongqing University and other universities participated in the discussion.
