Michael F. Baumgartner博士曾在包括苏黎世联邦理工学院在内的多所学校担任教职，并担任多个学术机构及政府组织的成员/顾问，同时参与创立了包括MFB-GeoConsulting在内的多家地理信息咨询公司。此次讲座，Baumgartner博士将分享来自瑞士MFB-GeoConsulting地理信息咨询公司的项目经验。

讲座内容包含两个主题，分别是：Application-oriented Monitoring from Space—from Single Frame Imagery to Video Streaming以及Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing—a base for the Real Estate Cadaster, Republik Aserbaidschan Cadaster, Republik Aserbaidschan。
